Last night the Oklahoma Sooner’s leading rusher Rodney Anderson learned that he was being accused of rape by a female he met last month in a bar.
Anderson’s attorney said that the allegations were “patently false.”
The woman filed an emergency order of protection against Anderson is saying that Anderson assaulted her at her apartment Nov. 16 after he took her home. The woman said that she was drinking at a bar and was originally going to call Uber for a ride home, but Anderson’s friends insisted she allow him to take her home.

The woman said that over the past weekend she was talking with a friend about the incidents and “recalling images and feelings of him forcing his fingers” inside of her and biting her too. She mentions that she went to put her clothes back on, but that he followed her asking what was she doing.
As of today, no charges have been filed against Anderson, but he is set to appear before a judge Dec. 18 regarding the protective order.
“Mr. Anderson first learned of [the woman’s] request for a civil protective order late yesterday evening,” attorney Derek Chance said in a statement. “Mr. Anderson is shocked and disturbed by [the woman’s] claims. Mr. Anderson did not, nor would he ever, force himself on any woman. There are undoubtedly true victims of sexual assault, for whom Mr. Anderson carries a tremendous amount of compassion. However, there are those accused of sexual assault which they unequivocally did not commit — as is the case for Mr. Anderson.”
Anderson’s attorney also stated that the woman attempted to start a relationship after Nov. 16, but when his client turned her down, the woman filed the order.
