Texans Playoff Pep Rally

Source: Joker / Joker

The Houston Texans are joining in with the rest of the NFL teams and doing what’s called “prospect visits” from certain players and arranging private workouts with the prospects.
These prospect meetings also means that the same players aren’t just visiting the Houston Texans too.
It shouldn’t be a shock that a couple of the players they want to see are quarterbacks… Quarterbacks that re going to get picked in the first round.

One of the quarterbacks is Clemson’s Deshaun Watson and Texas Tech’s Patrick Mahomes II. Clemson’s former QB Watson took his team to a national championship victory over Alabama last season, their first loss in years. Watson threw for 4,953 yards, 41 touchdowns and 17 interceptions.
As for Tech’s former QB Mahomes, he there for 5,052 yards, 41 touchdown and 10 interceptions last season.
Currently the Texans need a quarterback to fill the started position since they shocked the NFL world when they decided to trade Brock Osweiler to Clevveland.
At the moment they only have the backup quarterback, Tom Savage and their third string quarterback Brandon Weeden.
Plus, they’re in need of more then just a quarterback too, the team also needs an outside linebacker, right tackle and a safety.
If the Texans do draft a rookie quarterback, do you think they would immediately make them a starter?
The head coach Bill O’Brien thinks it’ll be a “Tough task,” but that if they get a QB drafted then they’ll be expected to compete for the spot against Savage during training camp.
The Texans aren’t just seeing quarterbacks… they had a visit from James Conner last week too. He was a running back for University of Pittsburgh. Conner is the man who overcame stage 2 Hopkins Lympphona and a knee injury and continued to practice and play.
