Jamie Barnes returned home after being out of town for a few days to find out that not only was her house robbed, but that the robbers were having sex on her couch too.
“It’s horrible in there,” said Jamie Barnes. “It’s absolutely horrible in there. It’s like they just had a big old nasty party.”
She tells the news that she was shocked to discover her door open, but she said seeing them just burglars getting it on took that shock away.
“Walk in and they’re having sex on my couch,” said Barnes. “I pick up my broom, I wanted to hit that man so bad.”
She said that the man was repeatedly yelling, “I don’t know nothing!” while his female friend was trying to get dressed.
“She tried to grab one of my dresses and put it on and I snatched it from her, what are you trying to do?” Said Barnes.
The male burglar took off running and Barnes tried to chase after him, but she lost him at some point. His female friend wasn’t as lucky, she was arrested and taken in for aggravated burglary.
Barnes said, “They ransacked my house and stole all my stuff: jewelry, appliances, clothes.”
The neighbor did say that they spotted the pair trying to sale Barnes’ jewelry at one point and some of her clothes too.
One of her neighbors, Christian Jones, said, “Crazy stuff. You never think something like that would happened. They’re getting too bold.”
Another crazy thing is, Barnes was already contemplating moving out because of crime, but the recent events, she can’t want to leave.
“I don’t feel comfortable at this house, so in my eyes, I’m homeless, “she said.
Barnes also wants to encourage people to get your renters insurance because she didn’t have it, but she knows now.
