Astros victory

Source: online / online

Last night the Houston Astros’ right fielder George Springer was something of a miracle with three hits that included a two-run double in the sixth inning. It was this that gave Houston Astros a win over the Seattle Mariners in their second game in the three game series.
That game left the Astros 2 1/2 behind the Baltimore Orioles and the Mariners are now just two games behind Baltimore, but after today’s game those numbers will change.

The game had the Astros with five hits off of the Mariners’ starting pitcher, Feliz Hernandez in the sixth inning. He had two of six runs scored in that inning due to two errors too.

The game was tied when Springer had a double to the right fielded that sent the game to 6-4 and Marwin Gonzalez had a two-run single that made the game 8-4.

The starting pitcher Mike Fiers allowed eight hits and four runs in five innings and Jandel Gustave gave no hits and no runs, but gave one walk for his first career win.

The Astros had and amazing win on Tuesday, but they have lost one game already and they are currently losing game three to the Mariners.

Their next game is an away game on Friday night against the Los Angeles Angels.
