9/11 jokes are never funny and it was one of the most devastating tragedies on American soil.

Most importantly, it should NEVER be used to sell a product but it happened.

We’re Texas proud with this story. Not.

Miracle Mattress, a San Antonio mattress store, has decided to apologize after a video promoting their “Twin Towers sale” drew hate filled venom on social medial.

The commercial shows store manager, Cherise Bonanno, standing in from of two piles of stacked twin beds. She says in the video, “What better way to remember 9/11 than with a Twin Towers sale?” Thereafter, two men who had been centered in the background of the manager then crash into the beds after she softly pushes them down, which caused them to tumble.

Then, Bonanno jokingly yells in terror and follows with the line, “We’ll never forger.”

Bad taste. Now, the store is offering an apology.

The statement titled, “An Apology to All the Victims and Families of 9/11,” Miracle Mattress owner Mike Bonanno wrote Thursday, “I say this unequivocally, with sincere regret: the video is tasteless and an affront to the men and women who lost their lives on 9/11. Furthermore, it disrespects the families who lost their loved ones and continue to struggle with the pain of this tragedy every day of their lives.”
