Last week, the Houston Texans fans were surprised to receive the news that J.J. Watt was placed on the PUP list, “Physically Unable to Perform,” a list he’s new to.
The news was shocking to most or maybe all fans of the best Defensive player went under-the-knife for back surgery.

He was placed on PUP after receiving back surgery for a herniated disc, but could be back on the field within eight weeks.
When you calculates it out, that could be sometime in September, before or after their 9/11 season opener against the Bears. We’ll have to wait and see how he heals and when he’s released.
On Sunday evening J.J. posted a personal note to all his fans reflecting and thanking the fans while he’s recovering.
Here is his note:
“As I sit here, recovering from back surgery, the doctors won’t really let me do much, so I end up just pacing around my house all day. I spend a lot of my time reading through the notes and letters that y’all have sent to me and trying to respond to as many as I can. I know I won’t be able to respond directly to everyone, so I wanted to write one note to all of you to say thank you.

“You make our jobs possible, you make them fun and you make difficult times like these much easier. So thank you, I truly appreciate you. See you on the field very soon.”
