US forward Carmelo Anthony celebrates af

Carmelo Anthony is among the many celebrities using their platform to make a difference in light of the recent shootings of Alton Sterling, Philando Castile and Dallas police officers.

On Friday, Melo challenged his fellow athletes to do whatever they can and help come up with a solution to the madness:

He wrote, “We can’t worry about what endorsement we gonna lose or whose going to look at us crazy. I need your voices to be heard. We can demand change. We just have to be willing to. THE TIME IS NOW. IM all in.”

Melo’s wife La La is also using her influence to demand change. She and director Spike Lee hit up the streets of Times Square in NYC on Thursday, along with hundreds of protesters, to chant “No justice, no peace.”

Jay Z, Beyoncé, Fabolous, Chris Brown, and more have also implored their fellow celebrities to stand up and speak out against racism and police brutality.
