It appears that not all the Grey’s Anatomy fans are supporting Jesse Williams’ BET acceptance speech that he gave when accepting BET’s Humanitarian Award.
These Grey’s fans that aren’t too happy about Jesse Williams’ BET acceptance speech have decided to create a petition to get Jesse fired.
During his speech, Jesse touched on a few of the recent topics such as Eric Garner, Sandra Bland and Tamir Rice… just to name a few.
The creator of the petition is Erin Smith and she is accusing Jesse saying that he, “spewed a racist, hate speech against law enforcement and white people at the BET awards. If this was a white person making the same speech about an African American, they would have been fired and globally chastised, as they should be, but there has been no consequences to Williams’ actions.”
The creator’s petition has received 8,725 supporters and that’s only 1,275 away from the 10,000 that she wants.
Another person, Pernell Walker, has created another petition y that supports all Jesse Williams entirely.
Pernell isn’t the only Jesse supporter too, the show’s creator, Shonda Rhimes has Jesse’s back.

In woods. Far from wifi. Get signal! What’d I miss? “Just because we’re magic doesn’t mean we’re not real.” @iJesseWilliams‘ speech. YES.

Um, people? Boo don’t need a petition.

Do not promote empty people & their tantrums. Pure clickbait to gain followers, attention & money, for themselves, not you. Never you.

What are you opinions?
