A 19-year old British illegal was arrested in Las Vegas after trying to grab an officer’s gun to shoot presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Reports say he was at a gun range practicing the day before.
Michael Steven Sanford went to the Trump rally at the Treasure Island Casino, approached a police officer, saying that he wanted an autograph from Trump, then tried to grab the officers’ gun.
According to NBC, he’s been charged with “an act of violence on restricted grounds” and that he figured he’d get off one or two shots before police shot him.
Sandford was arrested as Trump was speaking and ushered out the building.
