Scott Magee of Metairie, Louisiana, was filling a law suit against McDonald’s for refusal of service.
One the night, Scott decided to get some McDonald’s, but it was during the restaurant’s “late-night” hours and the fast-food chain doesn’t serve walk-ups.
According to court documents the people working at the drive-thru the night Scott walked up laughed at him and refused service.

This wasn’t the first time Scott was laughed at, but this time was different. Scott said he felt “ashamed” after the recent incident.
McDonald’s policy doesn’t serve people who walk up to their window, but when doing this, it’s not servicing people who cannot drive due to a medical condition.
Scott noted, “Lack any meaningful accommodation for the blind.”
According to court documents“Because McDonald’s does not per kit pedestrians to order from its drive-thru windows, the blind are totally precluded from accessing the defendant’s products during late night hours.”
The case was filed with the Unite States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois where the McDonald’s headquarters is located at.
What do you think about their policy?
