In today’s boxing scene, it’s no secret that some of the best boxers today are not American born fighters. These boxers bring us some amazing fights with their boxing talents.
Well, on Wednesday, Amir Khan addressed the media regarding his upcoming fight that takes place this Saturday against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.
In his press conference, Amir Khan took a jab at Donald Trump in a joking tone by saying, “You never now, this could be the last fight for me and Canelo here. That’s if Donald Trump becomes President.”
It probably won’t happen, but it kind of makes you wonder what happens with the fighters after hearing Donald Trump’s campaign about Muslims and Mexicans…
To refresh your memory some, Trump wants to ban Muslims from entering the U.S. and he has repeatedly called Mexicans,“rapists” too.
That’s what the 29- year old, Amir meant with his comment since Amir is a Pakistani-British boxer and Canelo Alvarez a 25-year old Mexican boxer from Mexico.
