Janet Jackson addressed her fans in a Twitter video on Wednesday (4/05/16) canceling the second leg of her ‘Unbreakable’ tour in lieu of planning a family with her husband of four (4) years, Arbian business magnate, Wissam al Mana.

“Hey, you guys. On Aug. 31, as you probably, know I launched the Unbreakable World Tour. First I just want to thank all the fans for coming out and seeing the show. Thank you so much,” the 49 year-old Pop Star said.

“You guys made it so enjoyable each and every night. We’re in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you would be the first to know my husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour. Please, if you can try to understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue to tour as soon as I possibly can.”

Christmas Eve of 2015 Jackson said she was postponing her tour until spring of 2016 to have an unspecified surgery.

She wrote on Twitter, “Please pray for me, my family and our entire company during this difficult time.”

Jackson gave no details of the medical condition which lead many to believe she had cancer but she’d return to Twitter in January to manage and deny the rumors.

“Remember…believe it when you hear it from my lips. The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I’m recovering,” the pop legend assured her 3.3 million followers. “My doctors have approved my concert as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled. Thank you for your prayers and love.”
