Deborah Monroe or ‘Deborah J.’ is an award-winning advocate, author, and public speaker. She founded BE THE VOICE in 2009 in an effort to give a voice to victims and survivors of abuse. In 2015, she authored Good Secrets, Bad Secrets to help young children differentiate between good secrets and bad secrets. She embodies #TeamBeautiful’s Beauty Of The Week because she rose out of her own ashes to create a platform to help other children and women. You go girl!
