Ok, let’s get a few things straight – the original “Full House” (1987-1995)  was a family show and it never was  a favorite of critics. I sat down on Friday and watch the pilot and a few episodes with the family – and it’s not award-winning, but it does capture the original essence of the show.  If you’re a fan, it will be a little weird at first, but the pilot is so nostalgia-driven you will definitely crack a smile.  The plot is pretty simple DJ Tanner (Candice Cameron-Bure) is a single mom (her firefighter husband died in the line of duty) and her sister Stephanie (Jodi Sweetin) and friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber) move into the old “Full House” house to help her out.  And, despite the Olsen twins not taking part in the reboot, most of the key players are involved and pop up in selected episodes in Season 1.  So, if you are in the mood for a Full House-type show, “Fuller House” will do the trick. If you seek something a little more deep – look elsewhere.
