It’s been since 2005 when the wrestling world lost the legendary Eddie Guerrero aka “Latino Heat” to heart failure.
He maybe be done, but he’s far from forgotten… everyone remembers his catchphase, “I lie! I cheat! I steal!”
Eddie’s wrestling partner and nephew, Chavo Guerrero was interviewed by Fox News Latino and he said, “not only was he great in the ring, but his promos and everything… People really connected with him. They loved him. He always wore his heart on his sleeve, and people saw that.”
Chavo still wrestles, but he wrestles with he Lucha Underground says that Eddie is still chanted at any given wrestling day… “Eddie!” “Eddie!”

It’s amazing that the fans still love and remember his uncle, but for Chavo, he says, “It’s a bitter sweet. You’re happy they’re chanting his name, but, at the same time, it makes me miss him more. Somethings you want to move on, but you can’t. He meant so much to so many different people.”
Chavo will tell you, “He was a great performer” and he’s right, he was one of my favorites and I remember meeting him before he passed away too.
He was a cool guy!
