Just For Laughs Festival - Arrivals

Kevin Hart and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are just the dynamic duo we didn’t know we needed.

The two co-stars of the upcoming film Central Intelligence, are set to co-host the 2016 MTV Movie Awards. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the entire show will film outdoors on the Warner Bros. backlot for the first time ever — the same location where Fox’s Grease: Live filmed last month.

The big show airs Sunday, April 10 and marks the 25th anniversary of the first MTV Movie Awards.

Singer Kesha is finally ready to face the music, no pun intended.

After filing a lawsuit in 2014 against music producer Dr. Luke, alleging he sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally abused her for a decade, Kesha is set to go to court for the allegations on Friday.

Just a day before the big day, she took to Twitter to insinuate that she prepared for court and to thank her fans for supporting her during this time. “Nothing left to hide,” she wrote, adding, “I did this because the truth was eating away my soul and killing me from the inside. This is not just for me. this is for every woman, every human who has ever been abused.”

Despite the allegations, the judge ruled that Kesha will not be let out of her Sony Music contract.

Everyone was excited for Queen Adele to take the stage at the Grammy Awards earlier this week, but a sound issue had fans a little underwhelmed and confused.

Adele stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to further discuss her Grammys mishap, when the mic fell on a piano during her performance of “All I Ask.” She told Ellen, “Sound check was great. Went really well. I was really excited, and then during the changeover the microphones fell onto the piano strings, which is what the guitar noise was. Some people thought it was Justin Bieber rehearsing, but it wasn’t him. We’re on great terms. And then it kind of put the whole thing off really.”

She added, “I wanted to turn, I knew what it was because in rehearsal on Saturday they were like we’re going to double mic the piano just in case one doesn’t work. And I knew where the mic was and I wanted to turn around and lift it up, but I froze. But I actually felt like it went well.” Check out what else Adele had to say about her performance in the video above.

Caitlyn Jenner introduces the band Culture Club as they perform at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, CA

Caitlyn Jenner has always been known to be very conservative, but the former Olympian says it’s not easy being a republican.

During her visit to the University of Pennsylvania on Wednesday, Caitlyn Jenner did a Q&A session with the audience, in which one person asked why she didn’t join a more liberal party. “I have gotten more flak for being a Republican than I have for being trans,” Jenner replied.

The panel’s moderator, Vanity Fair‘s Buzz Bissinger, supported Cait’s reply, saying, “Just because you change gender doesn’t mean you change your core beliefs.”  Just a few months prior, Caitlyn was grilled by Ellen DeGeneres about her stance on same-same sex marriage, stemming from the fact that Jenner use to oppose it. Looks like her style isn’t the only thing that has changed.

NBC is setting out to air another phenomenal musical.

Hairspray Live! will be NBC’s fourth live musical production, following last year’s successful adaptation of The Wiz, 2014’s Peter Pan, and 2013’s The Sound of Music. NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt released a statement, saying, “In keeping with our desire to bring the best of Broadway to our live musicals, we’ve assembled the Broadway dream team of Tony Award winners for Hairspray Live.”

Hairspray Live! is set to air Dec. 7.
