If your a kid of the 80’s – you’ll remember before X Box, Playstation and even Sega Genesis…there was the Atari home video game system. This short, but excellent documentary chronicles the rise and fall of the company that started it all. And, this doc also examines the myth that company’s mass produced and most maligned game “E.T” (based upon the classic 80’s flick) had it’s overstock buried in landfill went the company went under. If you’re not a child of the 80’s- and don’t know about Atari- this is an excellent history lesson in quantity over quality.
