I’m a big theater geek. Back when I attended Fort Bend Bush High School, I was President of my theater club and even snagged the role of Romeo in Romeo & Juliet. Since I’ve grown up in the world of acting, it’s given me a deep appreciation for musicals as well. Wicked and In The Heights have to be my two favorites hands down! Recently, I got into “Hamilton” by Lin-Manuel Miranda (the creator of “In The Heights). I think it’s dope because its a musical but they’re rapping about politics. LOL Don’t ask me how all of those three topics go together…but he definitely made it work. Shoot, if Oprah likes it… then it must mean that he’s doing something right.
