Our former President Bill Clinton declared “Gay & Lesbian Pride Month” back in June 2000. This began the celebration that we have this month as Pride Month.

Luckily, this month was later amended by President Barack Obama in June 2009 making it Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month too.

Back in 2008, Google decided to show their support for the LGBT community with showing pride colors on their search engine.
Every year during “Pride Month”, any searches on Google’s site that include any of these variety of terminology, LGBT, Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Same-sex-Marriage, Marriage equality and gay rights will see the pride colors.
These words entered into Google’s search engine, will show symbols that are decorated with the rainbow pride colors.
Check Google’s search engine out and see their support for the LGBT community.
