‘Empire’ Back In September With 18 Episodes And Guest Stars Alicia Keys, Chris Rock And Lenny Kravitz

Fox wasted no time in getting Empire onto their fall schedule. The mid-season replacement that debuted this winter with 12 episodes will return in September with a full 18 with nine in the first half of the season and the second 9 coming in 2016. Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz and Chris Rock are already booked to join the show as guest stars and Ne-Yo will join Timbaland writing and producing songs for the show.

50 Cent Talks Feuding With The Game + Ghostwriting For Diddy 

Recently while in Houston speaking with a local radio show, 50 Cent discussed an array of topics, including his previous beefs with both Diddy and Game.

The Queens rapper, known for his witty and often salacious jabs at his competition, was prodded by the hosts to speak on the latest keyboard quarrel between Game and Young Thug. Although Fif didn’t really have an opinion on that fleeting Instagram battle, he did refer to the former G-Unit rapper as someone whose career is now “reality television,” and whose first dope records were actually the work of 50.

Moving on, the topic of his relationship with Diddy came up in conversation. “The competitive nature of Hip-Hop is gonna create altercations, over and over,” said 50, and perhaps that’s why he’s had several heated exchanges with Diddy. 50 Cent then went on to proclaim that he actually used to ghostwrite for Diddy … click here for more details.

Jas Prince Loses $4M Cash Money Lawsuit Over Drake Royalties

A federal court judge presiding over Jas Prince’s lawsuit against Cash Money has dismissed the case, as shown in documents obtained by the Jasmine Brand.

Last year, Jas Prince filed a lawsuit claiming that back in 2007 his company, Young Empire Music Group, originally discovered Drake and would eventually sign him to Aspire Music Group.

When Cash Money approached them with the desire to sign Drake, Jas Prince agreed, but with the stipulation that 22% of all Drake’s advances, net profits and other advances would be paid to Prince and to his company.

However, back in November of 2013 he realized that he was still owed $5M, and after confronting Cash Money he was only paid one million dollars. After that initial payment, Prince claims he never received any further financial compensation, and he filed suit seeking the remaining $4M balance  … click here for more details.
