Members of the Pan Malaysian Islamic Party are upset about an upcoming concert from rapper Pitbull.

Pitbull is scheduled to perform in Malaysia Saturday at a dance music festival, but if it’s up to around 300 protesters, that won’t happen.

Islamic protesters gathered in Kuala Lumpur today to express their distaste for the rapper because his lyrics and performance style are “inappropriate.”

The leader of the protest Kamaruzaman Mohamad told Reuters why the group opposes his visit to the country saying,

“It’s bad enough that he is named after a dog, but if you watch his video clip on YouTube, his performance and lyrics are against Malaysian cultural norms.”

In addition to protesting Pitbull, the group is also protesting the government’s decision to allow a sports gambling company to set up shop in the country.

Malaysia is known for protesting concerts they deem inappropriate.

Beyonce canceled a scheduled concert last year after receiving harsh criticism from Malaysian officials for her style of dress and Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas was made to tone down outfits for a performance in the country as well.
