Man Hold Up! A teacher gets paid! A Kansas man is taking teacher appreciation to a whole new level. Kevin Perz, a father-of-four and business owner, sent a ten-thousand-dollar check to one of his former high school teachers in Missouri. In a letter, Perz said teacher Marilyn Mecham made a special impact in his life and that the check was meant for her to use “100-percent on herself.” Perz was Mecham’s student in a co-ed food class, similar to home economics, over 37-years ago.
