(Salt Lake City, UT) — A Utah woman is being given permission to sue herself for the death of her husband. Records from court show Barbara Bagley was driving four years ago when her husband was killed in their family car. She now wants to sue herself so her insurance company will pay damages including medical bills, funeral expenses and loss of financial support as a result of her husband’s death. The case made it all the way to the State Court of Appeals and she was given approval to move forward. Her insurance company says she should not be allowed to benefit from causing her husband’s death.
