NFL Superbowl XLIX seem to be marked down compared to the 2014 match.

The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will make their mark on the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

This will be the Patriots’ sixth battle for the championship title in the last 14 years, which in return is hurting ticket prices.

“Tickets were selling for $2,879 on Monday, according to SeatGeek… that’s down 20% compared to the same day last year. And it’s actually 18% cheaper than what Super Bowl tickets were selling for on Saturday, before Sunday’s games decided the match-up: New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks,” said CNN.

There’s sense of fatigue toward the Patriots this year due to the team becoming a norm at the Superbowl which takes away from the excitement. It seems as if fans no longer want to buy tickets and travel to watch their team play at the Superbowl, as they are leaning toward staying home and watching it on their TV.

The cheapest ticket sold on Sunday cost about $1,600.
