On Wednesday, Google has unveiled a new paid, ad-free Youtube music service.
This music service is called YouTube Music Key. This allows the subscribers to use the YouTube app on your Android or IOS to watch music vids and to listen to songs ad-free.
The YouTube app has an introductory price of $7.99 a month and this price could eventually be raised to $9.99.
The new service goes to “beta testers” next week with their biggest music fans first and to the public, the “future date is to be determined”.
Google says on their blog, if you see an app or e-mail than you can try out this new feature for free for the next six months.
Google is saying that your phone app will allow you to play your music and do other things on your phone at the same time while your app is running in the background.
They are saying that that “thanks to your music videos, remixes, covers and more, you’ve made YouTube the biggest music service on the planet.”
