9:11

It’s still so unbelievable to me that I was living in NY during this time. I remember the phone call from my mom asking me where I was cause something happened at the World Trade Center. When I turned on my TV I could see the second plane hit the second building. That entire experience changed my life. I had many listeners that worked in that building who I never spoke to again. I went to Ground Zero to comfort ppl who were still praying that their loved ones be alive amongst the rubble. 9/11 was one of the biggest reasons I left my dream job. I realized that I valued family more than money and the life of “survival” in the concrete jungle. Rest In Peace to all of those who passed and continuous prayer to those who lost family and friends. 13 years later…for some it still feels like yesterday.
