Like J Prince, founder of Rap-A-Lot Records and 50 Cents, Jay-Z has turned boxing promoter. With his passion for boxing, Jay Z with Roc Nation sports who manages some of sports top stars recently obtained their boxing licenses in both New York City and Washington. They plan on making fight cards and to make the up and coming boxers into celebrities.
Michael Yormark, president and chief of branding and strategy for Roc Nation told ESPN “We want to bring more money and visibility to the sport and give the boxers opportunities outside the ring.”
