Queen Latifah has a new project in the works. According to reports, the talk show host and TV producer is bouncing back from the cancellation of “Single Ladies” with a new romantic comedy.

Latifah is executive producing November Rule, which includes a star-studded cast of Macy Gray, Tatyana Ali, La La Anthony. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the upcoming rom-com follows the life of a sports shoe entrepreneur, played by “Sons of Anarchy’s” Mo McRae, who made a “November rule” to distance himself from women during the Thanksgiving month. “Every November, he breaks up with the woman he’s seeing using a whopping lie,” the description reads. “But when he realizes he has let go of the woman of his dreams, he tries everything to get her back.

This isn’t the only project to look forward to from Latifah’s production company. Flavor Unit is also working on a drama called “Brotherly Love,” starring Keke Palmer and Romeo Miller, “The Tony Story” starring rapper Meek Mill, and Who Says Money Don’t Grow on Trees, an upcoming stoner comedy.

A release date for November Rule has not yet been set.
