Timbaland is saying a higher power for forcing a reconciliation between himself and Jay Z. In an interview with “New York” magazine, the hit-making producer says that while he and Jay weren’t on speaking terms, “God did a lot of work” on him. He says the divine intervention made him a “different person.” While he didn’t detail what led to the rift, he said the first person he called after his epiphany was Jay Z. Timbaland even recorded a song dedicated to Jay where he apologizes for missing Jay’s 40th birthday and asks Jay to accept his apology.
