Jamie Foxx may be taking on the role of the late civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.  According to The Wrap.com, Foxx is in talks to play King in an upcoming biopic.  The film will be produced by Steven Spielberg and his DreamWorks Studios, which obtained the rights to the film in 2009.  At that time they were also able to secure the rights to King’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech.  So far, a director has not signed on to the project, but sources close to the action say that Oliver Stone is currently in talks to head up the film.

Stone and Foxx previously teamed up for the 1999 film “Any Given Sunday.”
