It’s girl’s time for Monica and her hubby Shannon Brown, so bring on the dresses and hair bows!
The lovebirds are expecting their first child together this fall, and to their excitement it’s a baby girl. Sandra Rose reports that the first female addition to their family — Monica and Shannon have three sons from previous relationships — will be named Laiyah.

According to a leaked invitation, the Browns plan to have an adult-only baby shower on August 24th.
We know both parents are really excited to welcome their new bundle of joy. Monica has been showing off her baby bump and pregnancy glow on Instagram, and during a recent press tour in Europe, the proud dad said , “I just want to be the first person that my daughter smiles at!”
