The Mayor’s Back to School Fest presented by Shell will be held in August. This year’s event will help 25,000 pre-registered students in need prepare for the new school year.

Students will receive backpacks, limited apparel, immunizations and hair cut vouchers. Health screenings by local agencies, City of Houston services, University of Houston programs, and food supplied by the Houston Food Bank and Target Hunger will be available to families in attendance. Please join us for a full day of family fun!

Registration deadline is Monday, August 5, 2013.

Due to a limited number of school supplies, only pre-registered elementary school children (K-5) who reside inside the City of Houston are eligible to participate.

After you register, you will soon receive a confirmation letter with date, time and location of the event.
