Solange Knowles took to the streets of Brooklyn on Sunday in support of a peaceful rally against the Zimmerman verdict. George Zimmerman was found not guilty of any charges brought against him on Saturday, which sparked outrage from many.
A peaceful rally at Brooklyn’s Borough Hall brought Solange into attendance, seeking to help bring justice for Trayvon Martin. Solange also tweeted some of her thoughts after the verdict.
We have to somehow turn this anger & pain into peaceful productivity. Our voices have to be heard & we have to do the work!!!
