A mouse in China is a free rodent following its courageous attempt to save a friend from a poisonous snake. According to Orange News, the two mice were supposed to be dinner for the snake at Hangzhou Zoo. But keeper Wen Shao says one of the little guys apparently had other plans, and started biting the snake on the head as it was trying to eat the other mouse. Shao says the “mighty mouse” managed to inflict a lot of damage on the snake, but it wasn’t enough to keep his buddy from being eaten. Still, the zoo felt it was only right to set the mouse free after he put up such a brave fright.
