(Undated) — The President’s right hand man is making a guest spot on “Parks and Recreation.” “Entertainment Weekly” reports that Vice President Joe Biden will be appearing on the November 15th episode of the NBC comedy. Amy Poehler’s character Leslie Knope, who once said that her ideal man would have “the brains of George Clooney and the body of Joe Biden,” will be paying a visit to the White House in the episode. The show was able to get some camera time with the Vice President when they were shooting for the season five premiere in Washington D.C. back in July. Leslie is newly engaged to Ben, played by Adam Scott, as of last week.
Leslie is known to have a major crush on Biden. In an episode during season four, she said, quote, “Joe Biden is on my celebrity sex list — well, he is my celebrity sex list.” The show’s executive producer Michael Schur tells the magazine that this cameo is one of the best they could get. He said “she’s meeting the man that she’s in love with on some deep level. It was a bigger deal to us in some ways that she meet Joe Biden than it was that she meet Barack Obama.” “Parks and Recreation” is on Thursdays on NBC.
