Recently a young woman, inspired by the Gabby Douglas hair twitter mess, decided to write a poem about it.
Gabby Douglas was attacked by many people on Twitter during the Olympics. Most of the commentary was about her hair. Many community leaders and Gabby supporters took to her defense. None the less Gabby has risen above all of the hate and won the overall women’s gymnastics gold at the Olympics.
The poem is heartfelt and powerful and apparently thousands of others believe that as well. The video is quickly going viral so we wanted to post it for you. Check it out.
