Abdus Sattar from Spring is charged with injury to a child after he was accused of biting an 11-year-old boy on both of the boy’s cheeks. According to reports, Chris Sigler said his son was riding his go-kart through their Spring neighborhood when 70-year-old Abdus Sattar stopped him.
Sattar allegedly grabbed the boy’s shoulders reached down and kissed him on the cheek and then bit him on the cheek. Sattar allegedly then bit the boy on his other cheek. When his son told him about the incident, Sigler called police.
Sattar a Muslim, told deputies that the incident was a cultural misunderstanding. Deputies investigated his claim before making the arrest. Injuries were seen on the child and as authorities began their investigation. Sattar was arrested and later posted a $20,000 bond.
