A large warehouse fire has been upgraded to four-alarm as Houston firefighters continue to battle in East side right now.
The huge warehouse is going up in flames in an industrial section of town, near Hahlo Street and Old Clinton Road out near the Houston ship channel. Flames are shooting through the roof and thick black smoke can be seen for miles. a shelter in place order is in effect for a five-mile radius.
The Houston fire department has 45 units on the scene including hazardous materials and rehab crews.
No word yet on any injuries or what started the big blaze.
