An Illinois teen is reflecting on what merits an “emergency” after placing a call to 911 when his parents took away his Xbox video game system. “The Chicago Tribune” reports that a 15-year-old from Buffalo Grove called 911, but then hung up. Area police Commander Steve Husak said that officers then went to the boy’s house. There, the boy explained that his parents had taken his video game system away. To this, the police informed the boy that his parents were within their rights to take away the Xbox as punishment. Husak said that he didn’t know why the boy was being punished.
