Hot of her Black Girls Rock performance on BET a few weeks ago, Elle Varner played legendary music venue SOB’s Monday night in NYC. Wearing a green cheetah print dress with leggins and bumping headband atop her signature hair curly hair, Elle sang her heart out for a packed house. Varner debuted her next single “Refill” a powerful slow jam and symbolic comparison to being stuck at the bar craving another drink, but in this case the “drink” comes from her loved one; it’s that good, good lovin’.
We’re absolutely loving her first single “Only Wanna Give It to You” featuring J.Cole and digging her retro-neo-old-schoolish feel. It’s early in her career but we’re predicting this girl is a winner.
