The same man with a taste for flashy T-shirts appears to have robbed two banks within four days in the Houston area.

The man robbed the Chase Bank branch at 12214 Jones Road on Nov. 14 and another Chase branch at 1490 Eldridge Parkway on Nov. 10, authorities said.

In the most recent robbery, the man walked into the bank about noon, went to the teller counter and gave the teller a note announcing that he was robbing the bank. Then he pulled out a pistol.

The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of money, the FBI said. The suspect fled.

The other robbery followed a similar pattern, though the suspect didn’t brandish a gun. He fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and climbed into a older, white Dodge Durango and sped away.

No injuries were reported and no shots were fired in the heists.

The suspect is described as black and between 25 years old and 30 years old. He is about 5-foot-8 and weighs between 150 pounds and 170 pounds.

In both robberies he wore baseball-style caps — one appeared to be a Chicago Bears hat, the other a New York Yankees hat — and T-shirts with elaborate lettering on the front. One read, “The Good Die Young.”

Anyone with information about the robberies is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the suspect’s charging and arrest
