(Huntington, WV) — A West Virginia woman is behind bars on accusations she encouraged and allowed her young children to smoke cigarettes. According to WSAZ TV, the sheriff’s department in Huntington says Theresa McCallister turned herself in over the weekend after allowing the six and eight-year-olds to smoke and take videos of it. The children’s father found the video on a phone and called police. WSAZ says the video allegedly shows the two kids puffing away and also lighting fireworks. One of the kids was injured by the fireworks. McCallister turned herself in and is due in court on several charges later this week.
