It looks as though Coolio has found a way to escape the unforgiving clutches of the law once again.

As earlier reported, the actor/rapper had a $10,000 warrant placed for his arrest Monday after missing a court appearance.

Appearing in court on Tuesday, however, Coolio, real name Artis Ivey, was able to handle the matter by proving that he had adhered to the terms of his probation, which includes participating in a drug rehabilitation program, according to TMZ.com.

The next date for Ivey, 45, to appear back in court will be January 18, 2011 where his next progress report will be given.

Documents had stated that the lawyer for Coolio made failed attempts to get in contact with Ivey on the date of his court appearance, which would have only set to derail any future proceedings in his favor.

In June of 2009, he pleaded guilty to drug possession after being arrested in Los Angeles International Airport.

Let’s hope that the former rapper’s drug rehab can keep him clean from any future “Fantastic Voyages” and he can get back on track once again.
