No not the Rockets and Lakers (we won’t know about that until June). But the Dynamo will take on the the Galaxy in a single match Friday night in L.A. to determine who goes to the MLS Cup final. The Dynamo beat the Seattle Sounders FC 1-0 on a Brian Ching goal in OT in front of 27,465 rabid fans at Robertson Stadium.

Houston won the MLS championships in 2006 and ’07, and Ching said the team drew on that experience as Sunday’s game wore on.

“We’ve put expectations on ourselves,” said Ching, the franchise’s all-time leader in playoff goals (6). “Every year, we’re one of those teams that realistically feels like we’re one of those teams that can win the MLS Cup. The proof is in our results.”

I’m going to keep it H-Town positive and not even mention Kris Brown & The Texans. Let’s go Dynamo.
