A man in North Fort Myers, Florida asked to be arrested earlier this week. NaplesNews.com is reporting that Dana Mack Klein flagged down an officer early Wednesday morning and said he wanted his roommate removed. When the officer told Klein he couldn’t evict his roommate, Klein said he would throw the man through a window if he wasn’t arrested. Klein then walked into his home, grabbed a beer, and started drinking in the street. He reportedly told the cop, quote, “I’m in the middle of a road drinking an open container. Take me to jail.” It wasn’t until Klein grabbed a second beer that his wish was granted. He has been charged with having an illegal open container of beer.
