A Texas man’s lack of appetite recently led to his wife’s arrest. According to the “San Antonio Express-News,” Elsa Benson was arrested December 18th for calling 911 because her husband wouldn’t eat dinner. Benson reportedly called the emergency number twice, and when police arrived they noticed that Benson had a strong smell of alcohol. Authorities were eventually able to determine that the 53-year-old had called 911 because her spouse refused to eat his meal. According to the Kerrville Police Department, Benson has called 911 30 times in the past six months. She was charged with one count of silent abusive calls.
