(Minneapolis, MN)  —  The city of Minneapolis will pay 165-thousand dollars to seven “zombies” after a street performance protesting “mindless” consumerism in 2006.  The “Star Tribune” says the four men and three women were arrested and taken to jail, but never charged with a crime.  When the group was arrested, they were wearing white makeup and fake blood on their faces and carrying bags of sound equipment.  Police say the group had been arrested on charges of carrying simulated weapons of mass destruction.
