FACT: Carl Lewis won ten Olympic medals, nine of which were gold.
FACT: “Sports Illustrated” named Carl Lewis “Olympian of the Century.”
FACT: The Dallas Cowboys drafted Carl Lewis as a wide receiver in the 12th round of the 1984 NFL Draft.  He did not end up playing in the league.
FACT: Carl Lewis was named Athlete of the Year by “Track and Field News” in 1982, 1983 and 1984.
