Evander Holyfield recently had some comments about his former nemesis James Toney venturing into mixed martial arts. The 11-time world boxing champion is scheduled to fight Randy Coutureon August 28.
Holyfield previously remarked that Toney was “getting in over his head.” These words obviously made Toney feel a certain way who beat Holyfield in a 2003 bout.
Toney spoke on Evander’s comment’s stating,
“He been over his head since he fought me…If you talk to Holyfield again, tell him to stop beating his wife…..stop and come see me. And by the way, I know he’s fighting in Detroit, which is my hometown in November. Strange things can happen to you when you’re in my town.”
