SandraRose.com recently posted a picture found on Twitter of two Black men on the train. One of the men resting on the others lap, as the other seems to be caressing his hand. Sandra Rose describes these men as down-low thugs, and reasons that the down-low phenomena within the Black community is a result of father-less child rearing and woman being primarily the heads of households.
Rose states, “It’s become nearly impossible to distinguish heterosexual men from down low thugs due to the proliferation of female-led households in the black community”.
The American Psychiatric Association reports “There are no replicated scientific studies supporting any specific biological etiology [cause or origin] for homosexuality.” Additionally the APA further states “No specific psychosocial or family dynamic cause for homosexuality has been identified, including histories of childhood sexual abuse.”

While there aren’t any studies which can prove this theory certain, is there any validity to Sandra Rose’s statements? Are her statements an indication of a common conception, or is it simply an indication of a homophobic ideal which she holds?

Hopefully, neither of these men are your husband or baby daddy. I found this homotional photo on Twitter.com last night. The caption under the pic reads: “#noexcuse I DONT GIVE A FUCK HOW SLEEPY YOU ARE…”
The caption writer assumes that the two thugs are just homeboys probably returning home from late night partying. But I beg to differ. The one on the left is lovingly touching the hand of the sleeping thug, which is a dead giveaway.
Over the past 4 decades, black women have decided to go it alone with their kids rather than be subservient to black men like their mothers and aunts were back in the days when black men were the majority head of households.
It’s become nearly impossible to distinguish heterosexual men from down low thugs due to the proliferation of female-led households in the black community.
